What is behind the Machinery Regulation 2027
The new European Machinery Regulation will apply from 20.01.2027. It replaces the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and introduces stricter obligations for design, software, documentation and safety certificates. It is a paradigm shift: responsibility, liability and conformity are being redefined. Anyone who plans, builds or operates machinery must act now.
