The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations name seventeen goals. Verifiable machine behavior acts directly on six of them — for the rest, any claim would be a stretch.

What this does not do

Transparency in machine behavior is not a sustainability programme. It replaces neither an environmental management system nor a reporting obligation, and it measures no emissions. We name no savings figures here, because we do not measure them — the actual effect depends on the machine and is established there, not claimed on this page. What the method does is supply the precondition: anyone who does not know how a machine behaves can neither judge nor improve what it consumes.
